炸年糕 Deep Fried Rice Cakes (Nian Gao)

话说那天把 kuih kodok 当 kuih koci,最后买了芋头和番薯,做了这个我超爱的炸年糕。

炸年糕

多余的蒸番薯,我弄了番薯蛋 (看这里这里),芋头则收了上来,要弄芋头蛋糕。

材料A (Ingredients A)
100g         自发面粉 (100g self raising flour)
150ml       清水 (150 ml plain water)

材料B (Ingredients B)
1个           年糕-切片 (1 rice cake / nian gao)
1个           芋头-去皮切片(大概1cm厚度),放在蒸笼里蒸15分钟 (1 yam - peel and slice (about 1 cm thickness), steam for 15 minutes in a steamer)
1个           番薯-去皮切片(大概1cm厚度),放在蒸笼里蒸15分钟 (1 sweet potato - peel and slice (about 1 cm thickness), steam for 15 minutes in a steamer)

材料C (Ingredients C)
适量          炸油 (Some oil for deep frying)

步骤 (Steps)
1. 把材料A搅拌均匀,备用。
    Mix well ingredients A until no lumps, set aside.

2. 用1片蒸熟芋头和1片蒸熟番薯夹住1片年糕,沾上(1),放入热油里炸至两面金黄,捞
    起,滴干油分,即可。
    Place 1 piece of rice cake between 1 piece of yam and 1 piece of sweet potato, coat with 
   (1) and deep fry until golden brown, remove from wok and dip dry.
